Details about our BIG DAY!
Dan and Julie will be married at Saint John Neumann Catholic Church (their home parish!) on May 16, 2009 at 1:00 in the afternoon.
The Mass will be celebrated by Father Francis Martin, who holds a very special place in both of their hearts. Father Francis has known Dan since he was a little guy and has been a source of spiritual peace and inspiration for Julie since she's lived in Gaithersburg. Father Scott Woods will concelebrate the Mass along with Father Gellert Ailer. Both of these priests have also been a tremendous influence in preparing Julie's and Dan's hearts for each other.
Deacon Andy Davy, MIC is Dan's older brother and was a close friend of Julie's even BEFORE Dan and Julie became friends! Br. Andy was ordained a deacon this January, so he will function as such during their wedding Mass (otherwise, he'd be a groomsman!) Br. Andy will be ordained a priest of the Marians of the Immaculate Conception only 2 WEEKS after Dan and Julie's wedding- at the same church!! We are so excited for you Deacon Andy!
Dan's father is also a deacon! You may see him also on the altar during the wedding Mass! Looking forward to it, Deacon Dad!

Our reception is going to be one gigantic party so we hope you're ready! Cocktail hour starts at 5:30 pm at the Seneca Grand Ballroom at the Holiday Inn in Gaithersburg, MD. Dinner and dancing will follow throughout the evening!

Sarah Hall- Maid of Honor
Sarah is Julie's only sister. She's a sophomore at St. Philomena Academy this year and is an amazing Irish dancer, specialty cake creator and, as far as I'm concerned, fashion guru. Julie is so grateful to have Sarah as her maid of honor!
Bridesmaids:
Grace Davy- Dan's sister
Grace is Dan's oldest sibling and is a truly amazing lady! Grace lives in Vermont and is a very accomplished writer, lover of movies, cats and all things green! Julie is excited to be Grace's future sister-in-law!
Marianne Skees- Julie's roommate
Marianne went to Steubenville with Julie way back when and now is the Youth Minister at MOG. She's also a budding runway model! She's a dear friend and a great roomie- so sorry to have to leave you in May, Marianne!
Nina Kurtz- Close Friend of Julie
Nina teaches at St. Philomena Academy and helps St. Joseph's House raise wonderful children! Nina and Julie met in 2000 at St. Joe's and were instant friends! Julie doesn't know what she'd do without Nina!
Erica Englefield- Julie's Household Sister
Erica and Julie are members of Totus Tuus Maria Household at Franciscan University and are therefore sisters forever in Jesus through Mary! Erica married Matt Englefield after college and they now live in DC with their beautiful daughter, Michaela (flowergirl). Julie is so thankful for Erica's sisterhood, love, support and friendship! :)
Emily DeFrank- Julie's longest-running friend
Julie and Emily go all the way back to 5th grade. They've had many great times together and have been partners in crime - on more than one continent! Emily lives with her husband Dann in Philadelphia and is a Special Education teacher.

Paul Davy- Best Man
Paul may quite possibly be the greatest best man a guy could ever wish for. Paul is Dan's brother and one of his closest friends ever. He's at the University of Maryland for Quantum Physics and is plays guitar in the band Sligo Creek. Paul is completely amazing.

Michael Davy- Dan's brother
Michael is the youngest of the Davy's and is a Junior this year at Watkin's Mill HS. He also plays one mean guitar and loves the outdoors and hunting/fishing. Dan is so honored to have Michael as a groomsman.
Bill Hall- Julie's brother
Bill has interviewed and met more celebrities than there are in an entire year of E! programming. Currently, Bill lives in Denver and does sports TV and radio. It's always great when he's back East for a visit. We're so glad he's in our wedding!
Dan Hall- Julie's brother
Dan had the privilege of studying in Rome this semester but is now back at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA this Spring. Dan's working on an undergrad. degree in Finance- go Dan! It is quite the honor for Dan to be a groomsman!
Anthony Antunes- Dan's friend
Dan and Anthony went to school together at Ave Maria University in Florida and are tight, according to the current vernacular. Anthony is now a HS Latin teacher but is currently on sabbatical in Germany so he can learn German. We miss you Anthony!
Jose Urquilla- Dan's friend
Our dear friend Jose also went to Ave Maria with Dan and is now working downtown for Senator Brownback of Kansas. Both of our lives are greatly enhanced by Jose's friendship and we are both grateful!
